Working hours and holiday entitlement

You benefit from advanced conditions. This is because: Our employees work 41.25 hours per week and, with our flex-work model, our employees can define both their working hours and the place of work themselves in the majority of cases. Holiday entitlement until the age of 49 is 5 weeks per calendar year (from the age of 50 it increases to 6 weeks).

«In 2015, I started at Profond as assistant to the Head of Real Estate with a 40% work quota. At that time, the real estate department was still small with a limited portfolio. Since then, a lot has happened and today we are a team of about a dozen people. In 2016, at the same time as the purchase of a large portfolio, the investment foundation was established and expanded as a separate entity. It was very exciting to be involved in the establishment of the investment foundation from the outset. My activities changed during this time and in 2016 I increased my work quota to 90%. To acquire more background knowledge for the establishment and expansion period, I began further training, which I completed in 2020 with the Federal Certificate of Specialisation in Business Organisation and deepened in 2023 with the CAS Organizational Office Transformation. As a member of the pension provision team, I take care of all aspects of occupational pensions for the customers in my portfolio. The work is very varied. Furthermore, I like having direct contact with customers and advising them in person. In addition to this task, I was given the opportunity of participating in the work to introduce our new administrative system. I was a member of the team that was responsible for testing the system. In that context, I checked whether various processes run properly and whether they returned the correct figures. And what's more, I made suggestions on how to improve and redesign the processes.
