Profond continues to drive the digitalisation of occupational retirement benefits and, together with the inter-pension association, is introducing the digital pension certificate.
The digital pension certificate. is standardised so that the data contained therein can be read into all systems that support this standard – for example, in dashboards from financial advisors or in digital pension platforms.
“Pension Scan”, the new web application from inter-pension, also reads out the insured persons’ pension data quickly, easily and safely using a QR code. The application works without installation: Pension Scan is opened directly in the web browser and explains the pension certificate individually and understandably. Data protection is of the highest priority:
- No personal data
- Only values such as salary, retirement assets or other insurance-related information
- The scanned pension data never leaves the terminal device
Insured persons can find the digital pension certificate as an additional service in our insured person portal.
Marco Immler, Head of Business Development and Member of the Executive Board of Profond, points out: “The digital pension certificate with a QR code opens up new opportunities for insured persons. Data can be transferred to other systems quickly, securely and in a standardised way. Another step towards the digitalisation of pension provision."
The introduction of the digital pension certificate is in line with the industry initiative digVA by bvg-digital.ch. The initiative defines a Swiss standard for the digital pension certificate and describes how pension data is provided securely, consistently and understandably. By using this standard, Profond will make pension data more transparent for insured persons and enable its use for digital services.
By providing the digital pension certificate, Profond is already offering its insured persons a taste of tomorrow’s digital pension scheme.
