At the Annual General Meeting, Profond provided information on the past financial year and gave an outlook on its investment and business strategy. In the subsequent keynote speech, Matthias Mölleney spoke about the importance of leadership in an AI world.
At the Annual General Meeting on 23 June 2026 at the SIX ConventionPoint in Zurich, Profond looked back on a growth-driven 2025. During the discussion, Chair of the Foundation Board Peter E. Bodmer, Managing Director Laurent Schlaefli and Chief Investment Officer Andreas Häberli gave guests a detailed insight into the past financial year, the investment strategy and the long-term orientation.
Review, investments and outlook
Profond decided on an interest rate of 2.25% for 2025. This is still above the BVG minimum, but is lower than in previous years. The reason for this is a communication from the Occupational Retirement Benefits Supervisory Commission, against which Profond has filed a complaint. Guests also learned more about the following topics:
- The annual review and annual financial statements for 2025
- Growth of Profond
- Strengthening the company’s structure and remediation capability
- Awards for Interest Rate, Return, Innovation and Best Employer
- Proven strategy for security in volatile times
- Strategy: Current status and outlook
- Innovation and artificial intelligence
- Communication
Keynote speech by Matthias Mölleney
In the subsequent keynote speech “Human Leadership in an AI World”, Matthias Mölleney, founder of peopleXpert and expert in leadership and human resources management, explained why people will remain at the centre of attention in the age of digitalisation and artificial intelligence, and leadership will continue to be characterised by empathy and trust.
The buffet reception left plenty of time for questions, exciting discussions and an informal exchange.
We thank everyone for attending and look forward to the next Annual General Meeting on 29 June 2027.
