In the pension fund comparison by SonntagsZeitung, Finanz und Wirtschaft, and Bilan, for the 17th time Profond came out again on top and received the award for the highest interest rate over the past five years. In addition, this year we also received the award for the highest return on investment over the last five years.

“The awards for interest rate and return confirm our long-term investment strategy,” said Marco Immler, Head of Business Development at Profond at the award ceremony. “Thanks to our investment strategy, we can pay above-average interest on the retirement assets of our members, which leads to a considerable interest rate effect throughout their entire working life and, as a result, to a much higher pension.” Further information on this topic can be found here.

In 2024, Profond delivered interest on retirement assets at 8 per cent, the average interest rate over the last five years was 3.65 per cent and, since its foundation in 1991, it has been 4 per cent. The investment return over the last five years was 4.6 per cent. This return and interest rate, which is well above the market average, is based on our investment strategy, which is focused consistently on sustainable capital growth.
