Sustainable thinking and action are an integral part of our corporate strategy. In a new publication, we present the status of sustainability measures for the directly held properties of Profond in 2024.
Our investment strategy aims to generate a profitable return while at the same time taking responsibility according to ESG criteria. In the investment space, we focus on asset classes that we can influence directly. This also includes directly-held real estate that is managed by the Profond Investment Foundation as an independent entity. At around CHF 2.2 billion, these account for 17.4% of the total fixed assets at the end of 2024.
Since 2023, we have documented the sustainability efforts of Profond Investment Foundation in a separate publication. The new publication shows the status of this as at 31.12.2024 and provides, for example, insight into:
- the carbon footprint and CO2 reduction path across the entire real estate portfolio
- the first-ever REIDA carbon report
- the installation of photovoltaic systems and electric charging stations for electric cars
- energy-conscious renovation based on the building energy certificate (GEAK) and a “GEAK+” report
